The goal to eliminate hunger seems increasingly out of reach. According to the latest State of Food Security and Nutrition in the World report, the number of people suffering from chronic hunger has barely changed in the past year. 

The consequences of COVID-19, extreme weather events, conflicts and economic crisis have pushed 152 million more people into hunger. And If current trends continue, millions more families will fall into this cycle.
