You’ve scored tickets to the hottest shows in Africa — now it’s time to get ready! This year, Move Afrika is raising the bar, expanding from East to West Africa with stops in Rwanda and Nigeria. First up: the legendary BK Arena in Kigali, Rwanda, on February 21, where EGOT-winning, multiplatinum artist and producer John Legend will take the stage alongside one of Rwanda’s most promising stars, Bwiza. Rising to fame after winning “The Next Diva – Indi Mbuto” competition, Bwiza has captivated audiences with her Afrobeat and pop-infused sound, quickly becoming a force in contemporary Rwandan music. Adding to the energy, Kigali’s own DJ Toxxyk — dubbed “the best DJ in Rwanda”— will set the perfect vibe, delivering unforgettable peak moments to hype up the crowd.
Then, on February 25, Move Afrika heads to The Palms in Lagos, Nigeria, for another spectacular night. Joining John Legend will be Nigerian singer-songwriter Simi, whose soulful fusion of Afro-pop and R&B has made her one of the country’s most influential voices. She’ll be joined by DJ Consequence, known for his electrifying fusion of Afrobeat and modern rhythms, ensuring a high-energy show that Lagos won’t forget.
Get ready for an unforgettable celebration of music, impact, and unity across the continent!
