Global Citizen Live is just days away, and we’re so excited to welcome Global Citizens to live events around the world — alongside a 24-hour global broadcast that will be a once-in-a-generation moment of unity in the mission to defend the planet and defeat poverty.
As well as live events on Sept. 25 in New York City and Los Angeles, and live and pre-recorded performances from artists all over the world, Global Citizen Live will also be coming to Paris’ Champ de Mars, for an incredible live event against a backdrop of the Eiffel Tower.
Global Citizens across Europe have been earning tickets to attend Global Citizen Live in Paris, by taking action to support the campaign to tackle climate change, COVID-19 vaccine inequity, and famine, among other pressing global issues.
Now that you’ve taken action and earned your ticket, it’s time to get festival-ready. Here’s everything you need to know if you’re attending Global Citizen Live in Paris, from COVID-19 health and safety info to what you can and can't bring, and more.
Where is the Paris event taking place?
The concert in Paris is happening on Sept. 25, in front of the Eiffel Tower on the Champ de Mars.
Who’ll be playing?
Ed Sheeran, Elton John, Black Eyed Peas, Christine and the Queens, Doja Cat, Måneskin, and special guest performances by Angélique Kidjo, Charlie Puth, and Fatma Said.
When and where should I arrive?
As outlined on your ticket, the Health & Safety Check opens at 3 p.m. CET. Doors open at 4 p.m. and it is recommended that attendees arrive early to allow plenty of time to go through the required health and safety protocol.
On arrival, you will need to go to the Health & Safety Check (marked on the map on your ticket), where our teams will check your health pass. If you don’t have a valid health pass, you will be denied entry to the event. All attendees will also be required to show their ticket and their ID.
There are three different entrances at Champ de Mars, so please take a look at your ticket to see the exact location you should head to. And don’t forget that you need a ticket to attend, so don’t show up without one.
The show begins at 5:30 p.m. CET.
Will I be let in if I arrive late?
The doors close around 8 p.m. CET. Make sure you come earlier to enjoy the whole show.
What time will it end?
The event will end at 11 p.m. CET.
What are the COVID-19 entry requirements for Global Citizen Live in Paris?
Your safety is our top priority and Global Citizen Live events will follow the latest COVID-19 safety guidelines and measures.
As outlined on your ticket, to access the event you will need to be in possession of a health pass (pass sanitaire). This can be either:
A paper document or a PDF that includes the QR code.
A digital document in the TousAntiCovid app.
On arrival, you will need to go to the Health & Safety Check (marked on the map on your ticket), where our teams will check your health pass. If you don’t have a valid health pass, you will be denied entry to the event. All attendees will also be required to show their ticket and their ID.
You can get a health pass if you have:
Been fully vaccinated, including allowing the necessary time after your final dose to qualify as fully vaccinated
Proof of a negative RT-PCR or antigenic test from within 72 hours prior to the event
A positive RT-PCR test result attesting to recovering from COVID-19, from at least 11 days prior to the event and within the past 6 months.

Face masks are also required to be worn throughout the event by everyone, and if you do not comply with this health measure requested by the organizers, you may be denied entry or be told to leave the festival. There will also be hand sanitizer stations located throughout the site.
Do I need to wear a mask?

Where can I do a PCR test?
COVID-19 tests can be done in pharmacies or COVID centers , check out your closest PCR test location here.
Do under 18s need to show a health pass to get in?
No, the health pass is not required for children under 18.
Will there be food and drink available?
Yes, there will be a variety of food and drink on offer at the event, including vegetarian and vegan options.

Can children and infants attend the event?
Global Citizen Live is a public event, open to all ages as it is organized in optimal security conditions. However, children under 16 must be accompanied by at least one adult. Every individual entering must have a ticket — this applies to all adults, children, and infants.
For health reasons, children under 10 years old are not recommended to enter the event if they are not equipped with appropriate hearing protection.
However, if you decide to bring a child under 10 years old without hearing protection, the event and the organizer will not be held responsible for any problems that may arise as a result of the event.
What can I bring with me?
Cell phones, digital and film cameras (non-pro), disposable cameras, ear plugs, empty reusable plastic water bottles, fanny packs, small beach towels, strollers (with toddler/infant), sun block, sunglasses, walkie talkie, bags that are 12” x 6” x 12” and smaller, single-pocket drawstring bags, and towels smaller than 30” x 70” are allowed.
Is there anything I shouldn’t bring?
The following items and actions are prohibited from the venue: alcohol, audio recording devices, backpacks, bicycles or scooters, blankets, CamelBak backpacks, chains or chain wallets, cameras larger than point-and-shoot (if you can remove the lens, don’t bring it), chairs, coolers, drones, fireworks, flags, Frisbees, glass or metal containers (including reusable water bottles such as Swells), illegal drugs or paraphernalia, laser pens or similar focused light, musical instruments, pets or animals, selfie sticks, skateboards, vapes, smoking devices, sports balls, tents, tripods, umbrellas, unlicensed vending of any kind, weapons, video recording equipment, water squirt guns.
Can I bring in water bottles?
Empty plastic water bottles are permitted, but metal or glass bottles are not permitted. There will be water stations on site to refill your water bottles.
Can I bring external battery packs?
Yes, you can bring a small personal/hand-held battery pack for charging your phone, etc.
Are there lockers or storage available on site?
No, there’s no space available to store items. Please ensure you read the list of restricted items carefully and only bring what you need.
What are the set times or order the artists are playing?
We’re not releasing set times or the order of artists. With the amazing lineup, get there early to enjoy the whole show!
I only need one of my tickets. Can I give the other one to another Global Citizen?
Yes, of course! Also if you need help finding a friend for the day of the show, check out our Global Citizen Facebook group here.
Both of my tickets have my name on them. Is that okay?
Yes, your guest will still be able to get into the festival if your name is on their ticket.
Do I need to print my tickets?
No, you don’t need to print your ticket, you can have it digitally on your phone.
Can I transfer my tickets to someone else?
Yes! You may pass on your tickets to friends or family once you have received them.
Can I sell my Global Citizen Live tickets?
Tickets are free but cannot be sold on a secondary market place for any reason. Ticket resellers will take down any Global Citizen Live ticket sales and Global Citizen will cancel any tickets that do come up for sale — so if you buy them, you won’t be able to get into the show.
We’ve set out the rules in the Terms & Conditions, and will remove people who break the rules from all draws.
Where is the VIP ticket entrance?
The VIP entrance is Entrance 1, Avenue de la Bourdonnais — Paris 7e, in the dedicated line.
Are there any restrictions around guests using their phone for filming and taking pictures?
There are no restrictions concerning non-professional filming or taking pictures.
Is there WiFi?
There is no public WiFi at the event except for in specific zones, for example, VIP and Production zones.
Is there parking available?
There is no parking available at the venue. We recommend that you arrive by public transport.
Can I turn up without a ticket?
No, all tickets will be allocated prior to the event. Only ticket holders must arrive at the venue. No tickets will be sold or distributed on the day.
My friend also separately won tickets. Can we stand together at the festival?
Due to COVID-19, in order to keep social distance and avoid gatherings, we have different entrances. Your entrance will be shown on the ticket that will be sent to you a few days before the event.
In terms of where they will be situated, we are randomly allocating the tickets across the zones so we cannot guarantee that people who have won tickets separately will be in the same area. However, everyone who has a pair of tickets will be in the same area.
Will the concert be on screen or are the performances live?
The performances for Global Citizen Live in Paris will be live, onstage performances, not on-screen.
