Coastal Texas received more than 50 inches of rain since Hurricane Harvey made landfall last week. High powered winds and extreme flooding have devastated the Lone Star state, especially the Houston metropolitan area where several million people live. It is expected that over 30,000 Texans will be displaced into shelters as flooding continues.
