LISA is bringing her “Rockstar” attitude and killer dance moves to the Global Citizen Festival on Sept. 28, 2024. Get ready to be “the loudest in the room” singing along to LISA’s songs and calling for change to make the world a better place.

Best known as a member of the globally adored K-pop girl group BLACKPINK, LISA will be performing at the Global Citizen Festival alongside Post Malone, Doja Cat, Jelly Roll, Rauw Alejandro, Benson Boone, and RAYE. This will not only be her first time stepping foot on the Global Citizen Festival stage — it will also be her first solo performance ever at a festival.

“We are thrilled to join forces with LISA for what will be her first ever solo performance at a music festival,” said Katie Hill, Global Citizen’s head of music, entertainment, and artist relations. “LISA is not only an incredible performer, but also a powerful advocate, leveraging her voice and platform to drive action on some of the most urgent challenges our world is facing.”

Held annually in New York City’s Central Park, the Global Citizen Festival aims to drive action on some of the world’s most pressing policy demands. This year, the festival’s primary policy goals are boiled down into three pillars of action: Defeat Poverty, Defend the Planet, and Demand Equity. Renowned artists, politicians, activists, and organizations will come together on Sept. 28, 2024 to rally Global Citizens and drive action on these critical issues.

LISA is bringing the same ambition she embodies as a pop star to her advocacy work. After landing her first Billboard Global Excl. U.S. No. 1 with “Rockstar,” the rapper has joined the Global Citizen movement and is calling on her fans to do the same.

From climate crises to food insecurity, the world’s poorest nations are being hit the hardest, resulting in more suffering for those who are already living in poverty. This year marks the International Development Association’s 21st replenishment round (IDA21), a chance for the world’s wealthiest to raise funds to help the world’s poorest countries improve living conditions for 1.5 billion people.

LISA is asking you to get involved and use your power to activate positive change. Sign a petition to end extreme poverty for all and urge the world’s wealthy countries to help provide education, health, food, and climate solutions to areas that need it most. Share a message calling on the international community to provide funding for GAVI, The Vaccine Alliance, so vulnerable kids can be protected from deadly diseases

Complete LISA’s Global Citizen Festival action sprint to create a ripple effect of positive change.
