When tragedy strikes, the one thing we can count on is this: people always come together to support each other.
And the terror attack in London, which left at least four people dead on Wednesday and dozens more injured, some critically, is no different.
Within hours of the incident — with people stranded in various parts of the city after Underground service was temporarily shut off in places — heartwarming messages of support started popping up on whiteboard signs in the tube.
Of course, we’d expect nothing less from the country who told the world to “Keep Calm and Carry On.”
Here are some of the best signs that popped up on social media. (And, to address the skeptics out there, no — we can’t verify these were handmade and not created with a meme generator. But does it matter?)
